Description
This course provides a comprehensive overview of
Georgia License Law and its practical application in today’s real estate
environment. Designed for real estate licensees, the course explores the
historical development of license laws, including the formation of the
National Association of REALTORS®, and examines the distinction
between the Code of Ethics and state-mandated License Law.
Participants will gain a clear understanding of the structure, authority, and
responsibilities of the Georgia Real Estate Commission, as well as the
purpose and function of the Georgia Real Estate Education, Research, and
Recovery Fund. The course places strong emphasis on identifying and
avoiding common violations under Georgia License Law, including a detailed review of O.C.G.A. § 43-40-25 related to unfair practices, violations, and penalties.
Through real-world scenarios and case studies, attendees will learn how
License Law impacts daily real estate activities, how to remain compliant,
and how to protect both their clients and their licenses. The course concludes
with a practical application segment, reinforcing key concepts and
promoting ethical and lawful conduct in all real estate transactions.
